BAL Profile: Petro De Luanda

Angola’s Petro de Luanda is playing in its fourth consecutive season of the Basketball Africa League. The southern African team also competes locally at the Luanda Provincial Basketball Championship and at the Angola National Basketball Championship. They have won two continental titles, namely the African Champions Cup in 2006 and 2015. Petro’s 2024 roster at BAL comprises of 11 local players and two who are based in the U.S.
