Since the end of colonialism in Africa, many foreigners have visited the continent and made the leap to settle there permanently. They have built new lives and embraced the African spirit. One such individual is the British-born guitarist, John Collins. After briefly visiting Ghana as a child with his father, he moved back years later. He is now a naturalized citizen who contributes to the country’s music scene as a musician, journalist, and researcher.
