Zambia’s Finance Minister, Sithumbeko Musokotwane, recently sat down with VOA’s Peter Clottey during his attendance of meetings held by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington D.C.
In his wide-ranging interview, Musokotwane discussed with Clottey attempts by President Hakainde Hichilema’s administration to address debt, while improving diplomatic relations with rival superpowers China and the U.S., who both pledged to help the southern African nation.
