YALI fellow talks about helping Sudanese flee conflict

Many young Sudanese are preoccupied by their country's 16-month conflict and its dire humanitarian crisis. Yara Khalid, a fellow with the Washington Mandela Fellowship, says she has been helping Sudanese who are fleeing the conflict. She told VOA’s John Tanza that her Washington experience could help her connect with others who are concerned about the situation.
