World Environment Day: Kubik’s Mission for Clean & Affordable Housing

The world recently commemorated World Environment Day, aimed at raising awareness and taking action to protect the environment. Advocates for a better environment, such as Kidus Asfaw, the co-founder and CEO of Kubik, Inc, an environmental technology startup based in Nairobi, Kenya, have taken on the challenge to find innovative and environmentally friendly ways to protect the environment. Asfaw spoke recently with VOA Horn of Africa reporter Alula Kebede about his company which makes low-carbon construction material out of plastic waste, and the growing movement behind saving the planet.
