The World Bank has approved a $300 million financial package for Ghana. Ghana’s minister of information says the money, the first of a series of three, will play a vital role in easing Ghana’s fiscal constraints, sustaining the momentum of economic recovery while protecting the poor and vulnerable. David Elmaleh, World Bank Senior Economist for Ghana, tells VOA’s James Butty, the agreement is consistent with the Banks debt sustainability framework.
