WHO: More Than 18,000 Monkeypox Cases Globally

World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Wednesday that more than 18,000 cases of monkeypox have been reported globally, mostly in Europe and the Americas. He urged countries and communities to take precautions and protect the vulnerable.
