Top Chinese, Russian and American officials have recently sent senior officials to visit Africa, a development that analysts say is a scramble between global superpowers to see who can capture the attention of the youngest and the world’s fastest-growing continent.  Despite allegations of competition, representatives of Beijing, Moscow and Washington all insist that they do not regard Africa as an arena to compete and instead are looking to invest into and collaborate with the continent.
