The European Union and United Nations agencies in South Sudan have committed millions of dollars to help thousands of returnees and internally displaced persons in Wau, the state capital of Western Bahr al Ghazal State, as they strive to rebuild their lives. According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), this $26.5 million project is intended to empower families in the region to shape a brighter future for their children.
