Washington Remains Committed to Sudan Cease-Fire

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken Thursday spoke on the conflict in Sudan during which he acknowledged that cease-fire talks “have been imperfect” but remained adamant that Washington remains committed to ensuring peace in the Northeast African nation – an address that was later followed by an announcement by National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan of economic and visa restrictions on Sudan’s warring generals.
