VOA 60: Trump explains US foreign aid cuts during speech

On VOA 60: U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday evening gave his administration’s reasoning to cut some foreign aid. He cited several examples, including Lesotho, where he said eight million dollars "to promote LGBTQI+ in the African nation."
Trump also used his speech to mention efforts such as a $10 million aid for male circumcision in Mozambique, $1.5 billion aid for voter confidence in Liberia and a $14 million fund for social cohesion in Mali.
