U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris is attempting to make national history again by becoming the first Black female presidential candidate on a major political party’s ticket. This happened after President Joe Biden announced that he would not seek re-election and called on members of his political party and supporters to back his deputy’s decision to face former President Donald Trump in November.
