US Considers Policy Options with Rising Instability in Sahel

Exacerbating conflicts and instability in Sahel nations like Sudan, Niger, Chad and others, prompted a Congressional hearing by the U.S. Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Africa this week focused on U.S. policy in the region.
