The United States on Monday announced new visa and economic sanctions on Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa and other government officials including his Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, after alleging acts of corrupting and the violation of human rights — allegations vehemently denied by the nation’s government and the ruling ZANU-PF.
