Upper Nile State tables first budget after four years of peace agreement

Upper Nile State’s minister for finance has presented a budget in the state’s parliament for the first time in 11 years. Authorities say this budget will cushion humanitarian shocks across the state exacerbated by floods and the influx of returnees and refugees from Sudan.
