Ghana will conduct its presidential and parliamentary elections on Saturday, December 7th at 976 polling stations across 276 constituencies in the 16 regions of the country. The upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections are the ninth general elections since the inception of the 1992 Republican Constitution, with two presidential run-offs. Africa News Tonight Host Yeheyes Wuhib talks to VOA’s Paul Ndiho who is closely monitoring the procedures in Accra. He starts out by describing the positive pre-election mood of the country.
