Oregon Physicists Shave One Billion Years Off Universe's Age

A group of Oregon researchers say they determined that the universe is not 13.77 billion years old but over one billion years younger. For Science in a Minute, VOA’s Rick Panteleo reports they took data from the now-retired Spitzer Space Telescope to measure the distance of 50 galaxies from Earth.
