The United Nations children's agency, UNICEF, has issued a grave warning regarding the intensifying conflict in Sudan's Al Jazeera state, compelling over 150,000 children to flee within a week. As 8-month-long conflict between the Sudan Armed Forces, SAF, and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, RSF, engulfs more than half of Sudan's states, including Al Jazeera, UNICEF representative in Sudan, Mandeep O’Brien, discussed the urgent risks confronting children and families in a conversation with VOA’s Nabeel Biajo from Port Sudan.
