The United Nations has warned that Sudan could soon become the world's largest hunger crisis – what one official called looming “catastrophic food insecurity levels.” The World Food Program is sounding the alarm, emphasizing that logistical challenges in aid delivery amid the country’s conflict have hindered access to 1 million people a month in desperate need of assistance in Darfur.
