A delegation from the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan is on a five-day visit to Kenya, to engage stakeholders on advancing human rights, and ensuring accountability for the rights violations in South Sudan. Yasmin Sooka, chairperson of the commission, told VOA’s John Tanza that she met mediators and South Sudan government officials attending the Kenya-brokered South Sudan talks, to discuss issues related to the role of justice and accountability in the peace process.
