Britain’s Supreme Court ruled that the government's plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda was unlawful, as Rwanda could not be considered a safe third country alternative. Yolande Makolo, spokesperson for the Rwandan government, said the Rwandan government took issue with the ruling stating that "Rwanda is not a safe third country for asylum seekers and refugees in terms of refoulement."
