Of Nigeria’s 223.8 million people, only about 12% are estimated to have any type of government affiliated identification. In collaboration with the Nigerian government and the World Bank, the "Nigeria Digital Identification for Development" project aims to create a digital identification system for all Nigerians to enhance access to services while promoting inclusivity and gender equality.
