Syrians continue to search for loved ones amongst former prisons

Outrage permeates the Syrian capital of Damascus as families search for loved ones who are have been missing or have died in their fallen government’s brutal prison system. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is pressing ahead with efforts to unify Middle East nations in support of a peaceful political transition in Syria. He is meeting on Friday with Turkey's foreign minister after his talks with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan focused on preventing Syria from collapsing into wider turmoil.
