Sudanese refugee recounts harrowing ordeal to safety

Many women fleeing the conflict in Sudan encounter difficulties on their journeys to other states across the country. Twenty-five-year-old Hibaallah Eldeen Malith, who escaped from Khartoum with her mother and her three siblings, made it to Port Sudan. She says men in uniform took away their valuables including gold and money. Malith tells VOA’s John Tanza her journey from Khartoum to Port Sudan was tough.
