The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is expressing deep concern as fighting rages on in Sudan’s capital Khartoum and other densely populated towns across the country. ICRC spokesperson in Sudan, Germain Mwehu says the ongoing fighting is also targeting civilian infrastructure disrupting essential services such as healthcare, water and power. He tells VOA's Nabeel Biajo, Sudan's warring parties must protect civilians, allow access to humanitarian assistance and treat detainees with dignity.
