Sudan’s military leader Abdel Fattah al-Burhan relieved five civilian members of the joint collegial presidency, the Sovereign Council, as he plans to dissolve it. For South Sudan in Focus, Michael Atit reports General al-Burhan did not provide an explanation of why he sacked the civilian officials.
