Eyewitnesses in El Obeid town of Sudan’s North Kordofan State report that airstrikes by the Sudan Armed Forces against the positions of the Rapid Support Forces have persisted for two consecutive days. Residents of the town confirm that heavy fighting commenced early on Friday morning as SAF infantry members continue to engage the paramilitary fighters.
