As Sudan faces the challenges of ongoing violence, its healthcare system is on the edge of collapse. Project HOPE, in partnership with the Sudanese American Physicians Association has taken a step to provide essential medical supplies to Al-Nau hospital, seen as a beacon of hope in the city of Omdurman. VOA's Nabeel Biajo spoke with Chessa Latifi, deputy director for emergency preparedness and response with the global charity Project HOPE, who describes a collapsing healthcare system in Sudan.
