The South Sudan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation says it is stepping up efforts to rescue stranded South Sudanese migrants in the Libyan capital Tripoli. A ministry official says embassies in Sudan and Egypt have been directed to facilitate the evacuation of South Sudanese immigrants detained for more than three years in the North African country due to a lack of travel documents.
