On this World Water Day, South Sudan’s minister of water resources and irrigation says his government lacks the necessary funding to make safe drinking water accessible to citizens across the country. Pal Mai Deng tells VOA's John Tanza his government is working with partners in the international organizations to provide clean water to South Sudanese, adding that he plans to present a memo in the Council of Ministers to address the water crisis in the country.
