The Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU) have sued the administration of South Sudan President Salva Kiir in the East African Court of Justice for allegedly kidnapping one of its critics. The lawyers say the South Sudan and Kenyan governments are responsible for the alleged disappearance and arbitrary arrest of Kenya-based South Sudanese government critic Morris Mabior Awijwok. South Sudan’s deputy minister for foreign affairs says the government has yet to receive a summons from the court. For South Sudan in Focus, Viola Elias reports from Juba.
