The Kenya brokered peace talks for South Sudan called the Tumaini Initiative appears to be facing challenges. The talks launched on May 9 incorporated all the holdout groups that have not signed the 2018 Revitalized Agreement on Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan. Kuel Aguer Kuel is an activist at the talks. He tells VOA’s John Tanza that the government delegation is taking too long to return to the negotiations after its consultation with President Salva Kiir on the talk’s progress.
