A government road construction project in Central Equatoria state’s KajoKeji County has ignited controversy, with local communities and activists saying it is a facade for illegal logging activities. The KajoKeji County commissioner says the logging was underway to facilitate a state road project. Denis Logonyi has more from Juba.
