Police in South Sudan’s Jonglei State say they have launched a crackdown on illegal drugs and alcohol abuse in Bor town after the governor banned sales of alcoholic beverages and drugs last week. Authorities say many young people in the area are abusing drugs such as the painkiller tramadol. For VOA News, Manyang David Mayar, has more from Juba.
