A panel of UN rights experts on Monday named several high-ranking South Sudanese officials they say warrant criminal investigation and prosecution for their part in grave atrocities against civilians. The report identifies Unity State Governor, Joseph Monytuil, and Lieutenant General Thoi Chany Reat of the South Sudan People's Defence Forces, in the allegeed state-sanctioned killings in Mayom County on August 2022.
