South Sudan Deploys Unified Forces to Upper Nile State

South Sudan’s transitional government of national unity deployed the first phase of the Necessary Unified Forces to the Upper Nile State capital, Malakal this week. President Salva Kiir’s security advisor said nearly 800 soldiers including 150 women are ready for deployment.
