South Sudan analyst remember Jimmy Carter

Thursday is a National Day of Mourning in the United States for former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, with the government shut down and top officials gathered at the National Cathedral in Washington for a state funeral for the country’s 39th president. Jok Madut Jok, a South Sudanese analyst and co-founder of the Juba-based Sudd Institute, told VOA’s John Tanza that former President Jimmy Carter supported the people of South Sudan during difficult times
