South Africa scientists unveil piece of rare meteorite discovered by 9-year-old girl

South African scientists on Tuesday unveiled a fragment of what they described as a motorcycle-sized meteorite that was discovered by a 9-year-old girl in the country's Eastern Cape province last month. The scientists said it was a rare type of an achondritic meteorite. Fiona Jones of Reuters reports.
