South Africa Economic Woes Stir Fears of New Crisis

Economists say sustained electricity outages have plunged Africa’s second-largest and most industrialized economy into “deep recession.” They say investors are leaving South Africa, businesses are closing and thousands of jobs are being lost as the economy contracts.
