Somalia President Signs Bill Nullifying Ethiopia Somaliland Deal

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia has signed legislation nullifying the recent MoU between the leaders of Ethiopia and the self-declared Republic of Somaliland. Somalia calls the deal illegal allowing Ethiopia to land along the Red Sea. The defense minister of Somaliland resigned Sunday in protest over the deal.
