Samura Kamara, the presidential candidate for Sierra Leone’s opposition All People Congress Wednesday held a press conference during which he called for the resignation of the electoral commission after arguing that the body would not conduct “free, fair, non-violent, and credible elections.” Despite resignation calls, Kamara still implored the West African nation to ensure that citizens can cast their ballot on June 24, “come rain, come sunshine, come the usual barrage of bullets.”
