Sierra Leone Official Explains Charges Against Former President

Sierra Leone’s information minister is explaining why former President Ernest Bai Koroma is facing more charges, including treason. Koroma was charged Wednesday for his role in last November's alleged failed coup. Other charges include misprision of treason and two counts of harboring. Information Minister Chernor Bah tells VOA's James Butty ‘misprision of treason’ is the crime of concealing knowledge of treasonable acts.
