Sierra Leone Lawyer Calls Koroma Treason Charge Political

In Sierra Leone, former President Ernest Bai Koroma was charged with treason and a host of other charges on Wednesday for his role in an alleged failed coup in November. One of his former lawyers, Ady Macauley tells VOA’s James Butty that Koroma had no reason to stage an overthrow of the government after serving two full terms.
