Sierra Leone Denies Making Deal To Drop Koroma Charges

Sierra Leone information minister Chenor Bah denies knowing about any deal to temporarily relocate former President Ernest Bai Koroma to Nigeria in exchange for dropping treason charges against him, which Koroma has called politically motivated. ECOWAS reportedly brokered the deal. Information Minister Chernor Bah tells VOA's James Butty that the former President remains under house arrest while awaiting trial.
