Senegal’s parliament voted to delay the nation’s presidential election till Dec. 15. The capital city Dakar, was said to be relatively calm on Monday. But political analyst Ibrahima Kane tells VOA James Butty, there were many reactions from trade union and religious groups criticizing President Mack Sall’s abrupt decision to postpone the February 25, 2024 presidential election.
