Senegal opposition leader Ousmane Sonko remained hospitalized Monday. He had been on a hunger strike to protest what he calls politically motivated charges against him. Nafissa Dia, a member of Sonko’s African Patriots of Senegal for Work, Ethics and Fraternity (PASTEF) party, tells VOA’s James Butty, the government is responsible for Sonko’s life.
