Science in a Minute: An Annular of 'Ring of Fire' Eclipse Will Take Place on 10-14-23

A rare astronomical event called an annular or ‘Ring of Fire’ solar eclipse will take place on Saturday, October 14th. A “ring of fire” eclipse takes place when the moon appears slightly smaller than it does during a normal eclipse when it passes in front of the sun.
