U.S. President Donald Trump has promised to boldly reshape the country’s relationship with African countries. From trade agreements to aid assistance, official U.S. positions are likely to take a different approach to securing their interests. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to VOA’s Anthony LaBruto live at the Carnegie Endowment for Peace in Washington, DC, where American and African experts met to discuss how to best approach the expected changes in U.S. policy.
