South Africa Cabinet Shuffle to Tackle Energy, Government Performance

South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa Monday reshuffled his cabinet announcing two new ministries and a new deputy president. Speaking in a televised national address, Ramaphosa announced a minister of electricity to tackle the energy crisis and another minister to “focus greater attention on the performance of government." He also named Paul Mashatile, the African National Congress deputy, as the deputy president of South Africa.
