The President of Nigeria’s Labor Party, Peter Obi who placed third in the recent presidential race, says he is under pressure to leave the West African nation, following the release of a leaked audio where he allegedly called on Bishop David Oyedepo of the Winners’ Chapel to help him secure victory in the polls. Obi reportedly described the February 25 polls as a “religious war,” adding that the leaked audio was fake while accusing the ruling All Progressives Congress of spreading propaganda. For more, host of VOA’s Daybreak Africa James Butty spoke to Yunusa Tanko, the spokesperson for the Labor Party.
